CILAS  and Bertin Winlight  are glad to announce that they have been selected by the CNES to provide the multispectral filters for the dioptric telescope developed by CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique - LESIA of the VEM instrument on VERITAS and the VENSPEC-M instrument on EnVision lead by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) whose aim is to determine the Venus surface composition by studying its thermal emissivity.

This confirms once again the attractiveness and expertise of French companies in the Aerospace market.

EnVision, an European Space Agency - ESA  mission is set to investigate Venus from its core up to its upper atmosphere, characterizing the interaction between its different envelopes. It aims to provide a view of the planet, studying its history, activity and climate.

VERITAS, a NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration mission lead by NASA - Jet Propulsion Laboratory is an orbiter designed to provide foundational global datasets to search for active geologic processes, answer key questions of rocky planet evolution and fuel decades of future science investigations.
