CNES awards SME label to CILAS.

Representing around 40% of the main space suppliers, SMEs are an essential link in the French industrial landscape, thanks to their cutting-edge expertise, their powerful capacity for innovation and their responsiveness.

The label is awarded for 3 years to French SMEs that are key suppliers to the space industry. It covers a wide range of sectors: launchers, orbital systems, ground segments, satellites, balloons, etc. The label recognises the excellence of products or services with potential for economic development.

CNES has just awarded 5 new labels, bringing the total to 54 since 2020 including CILAS for its optical treatments in thin films for space applications
